Can iPad Education Serves As Tool?

Jakarta - iPad began to be used as a complementary learning needs. In the near future, several universities and schools in the United States (U.S.) plans to equip their students and faculty with tablet computers made by Apple this.

Oklahoma State University campus will be one of the first to use iPad as a tool of teaching and learning. The college was scheduled to implement the program learn to use iPad begin this autumn.

"This project will focus on areas of study which we believe will be more developed and gain added value if using IPAD," said Assistant Professor at Oklahoma State University, Bill Handy, reported by CNN and quoted

Handy hope, IPAD later can be used as a collaborative tool in teaching and learning activities, a standard mobile device combined with the curriculum and help save costs for the provision of learning equipment.

"We will evaluate the results, how iPad, special applications and web-based tools can be integrated in this capacity. More importantly, how the integration between these mobile devices can assist in developing students' skills when they enter the workforce later," said Handy, at length .

IPAD is a versatile function is also able to lure the Illinois Institute of Technology to use tablet computers as learning tools. The university is even the ambition to integrate iPad into all their academic activities.

"We can assure everyone has the same device and software and make it easy terintgrasi into the curriculum," said Associate Director at the Illinois Institute of Technology, Evan Venie.
