Not to be outdone by Chris Brown, her ex comes first foray into the world of film, R & B singer Rihanna will soon appear on the first film titled Battleship. As reported by Variety, the 22-year singer has signed a contract on July 26, 2010 with the Universal Studio. In the film which will be directed by Peter Berg, penembang song Umbrella is not yet known what will portray the character.
Rihanna will be added to the row of other players such as Taylor Kitsch and Alexander Skarsgård who played as a Navy officer. There has been no official statement from the studios and directors regarding the role to be played by Rihanna.
Adapted based on the Hasbro Battleship game, with the same title. Tells the story of adventure on the American naval warship that fought against the great enemy forces. The movie itself is planned to be released in America on May 18, 2012.
